Hans Moller studied in Germany at the Art School in Wuppertal-Barmen and at the Berlin Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin. Among his awards are: the Palmer, Bibbard, Carnegie and S.F.B. Morse, the NAD; the Salmagundi Club; the Corcoran Gallery, Washington, DC; and the Print Club of Philadelphia. His works are included in such public collections as: the Museum of Modern Art; the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Brooklyn, Museum; the Phillips Memorial Gallery, and the Hirshhorn Gallery, Washington, DC; the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts; the Detroit Institute of Art, and the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He taught at the Cooper Union Art School.
