Label TextJudith Shea has had an ongoing fascination with the human form. She is best known for her life-size bronzes that incorporate the language of classical antiquity. Apollo is the pendant to another work by the artist, Venus. Together these two suggest the contrasting notions of masculinity against the feminine ideal.
