Label TextThis small bronze sculpture depicts a seated female nude figure with her head tilted back and gazing upwards. Her right leg is under her left which is drawn to her chest. She grasps her left foot with both hands. The work was originally conceived as a garden figure, life-size, and several examples are known to have been made in cast stone and terra-cotta as well as bronze.
