Aiden Lassell Ripley studied at the Fenway School of Illustration, Boston, Massachusetts, and at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Among his honors were: the Paige Travelling Fellowship, School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; three, American Watercolor Society; the Boston Art Club; and the Blair Purchase Prize, the Art Instutite of Chicago. His work is found in public collections such as: the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the Davenport Municipal Art Gallery, Iowa; and the Atlanta Art Association. His murals are located in such cities as: The Public Library, Winchester, MA, and the US Post Office, Lexington, MA. His preferred medium was watercolor.
