Roller began studying art in 1943 at Vesper George School of Art, Boston, Massachusetts, and then studied sculpture at the Art Students League from 1947-49. From 1950-55 she attended the terra cotta sculpture class at Greenwich House Pottery and, n 1974, received her B.A. from Queens College, New York. Among the awards which she has received are several gold medals from the Pen and Brush Club, New York; the Kalos Kagathos Foundation Award from the National Sculpture Society (1984), and the Samuel Cashwan Award from Audubon Artists (1992).
Among the public commissions which she has recieved are those for a monument for St. Mary's Children and Family Services (1986); a memorial relief of a former president of the Pen and Brush Club (1984); and a memorial for the poet Rosemary Harris (1995). Roller resides in New York City.
