Artist/Printmaker Martin Levine was born in New York City on May 14, 1945.
Levine works mainly in etching and lithography, depicting realistically rendered cityscapes.

Levine has served on the jury for numerous International exhibitions, including Biennales in Varna, Bulgaria; Lodz, Poland; Belgrade, Yugoslavia; and Bristol, England. He is the former President of the Society of American Graphic Artists, and has taught at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, since 1986. He was a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Printmaking in 1976 and his work has been included in numerous exhibitions throughout the world.
