Virginia Cobb is a contemporary artist who is a native Oklahoman who grew up in a family of artists, and has been actively involved in art throughout her life. She is known for her watermedia paintings and believes that every painting is an experiment. Her works have been exhibited throughout the US, Canada, and Great Britain.
Cobb now lives outside of Santa Fe, NM, where she also has her studio, and teaches two workshops a year. She was elected to the American Watercolor Society in 1976, and later received a Dolphin Fellowship from that society.
