Robert Cronin was born in Lexington, Massachusetts in 1936 and presently lives and works in Falls Village, Connecticut.
He received his B.F.A. in Painting from Rhode Island School of Design and his M.F.A. in Painting from Cornell University. Cronin has spent much of his time teaching and inspiring students. He has taught at Bennington College in Vermont, Brown University, Michigan State University, School of Worcester Art Museum, Worcester, Massachusetts, and at St. John’s University in Minnesota.
