Morenon studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Among his public works are the main gates he created for the 1937 Paris World's Fair, as well as sculptures for the Carney Hospital, Boston (1952), the Nazareth School, Boston (1953), and the Cathedral of Baltimore (1958). He served as instructor of sculpture at the Cambridge School of Design from 1947 to 1952 and at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School beginning in 1950.
