George Nama is a printmaker, sculptor, and teacher who was born in 1939, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. George Nama was educated at Carnegie Mellon, and the Atelier 17 in Paris, studying with Stanley William Hayter. He has illustrated several books of poetry, and has exhibited both nationally and internationally. Nama currently lives in Montauk, New York.
