Herman Rose

Herman Rose studied at the School of the NAD. He was awarded a Yaddo Fellowship. Among other honors are: The Grumbacher Art Award, the Henry Ward Ranger Purchase Fund, and the Altman Prize, all from the NAD. His paintings are found in public collections such as the Museum of Modern Art; the Whitney Museum of American Art; and the Hirshhorn Musuem. He taught at the New School for Social Research.
