Seymour Pearlstein studied at the Pratt Institute, the Art Students League, and the School of Visual Art, New York City. Among his honors are five awards from Audubon Artists; three awards from the American Academy of Arts and Letters; the Ranger, Isador and Leavin awards at the National Academy; and four awards from the National Arts Club. His works are included in public collections such as the Museum of New Mexico, Santa Fe; the Mint Museum of Art, Charlotte, North Carolina; and the Fine Art Gallery of San Diego, California. His career has included much work as an illustrator and he has taught (teaches?) at NYC Technical College, CUNY.
