Label TextThe portrait has been reduced to its present size, probably from the mandatory ANA diploma portrait dimensions of thirty by twenty-five inches. The strip of canvas bearing the inscription, which is of a character to suggest it was in the hand of Blondell, himself, or a close contemporary, was salvaged and attached to the masonite mounting board; the inscription was on the reverse side of the original canvas.
