Frequently, as here, he incorporated texts by more than one author on a particular theme and created prints that relate to them on a general thematic level rather than in specific ways. He has often depicted architectural motifs, made striking through the use of the collagraph method, a type of relief printmaking suitable for the bold treatment of contour, line, and color.
