Label TextRoberto II is from Ferrer's Portrait Series which he worked on from 1981-1998. Ferrer felt that gifting this particular portrait was very fitting because it is of Roberto Juarez, who nominated Ferrer to become a member of the National Academy of Design. Juarez sat for Ferrer in a studio he had at the time on Little West 12th Street in NYC (1994-2001).Collections
