Label TextA landscape painter, Schofield was part of the group of artists, including Hugh Breckenridge, William Glackens, Edward Redfield, Everett Shinn, and John Sloan, who attended weekly open-house discussions at Henri's Philadelphia studio during the early 1890s.
Henri and Schofield were together in Paris in 1895, and along with Glackens they took a bicycle tour through Belgium and Holland to study Dutch Old Master paintings.
