Carl G. Setterberg studied at School Art Institute of Chicago; the Chicago Academy of the Fine Arts; and at the Grand Central School of Art, NYC. Among his awards were: the Emily G. Clindinst Prize, the Salmagundi Club; the NAD's Adolph and Clara Obrig and the Ranger prizes; and a prize, the Swedish American Art Exhibition. His work is at the Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs; the McChord Air Force Base, Washington, DC; and in the DeBeers Collection. He had a long career as an illustrator.
