Kondos attended California State University as well as Sacramento City College. Kondos has had several solo exhibitions at Accan Stone Gallery, New York in 1979, Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento in 1980, John Berggruen Gallery in 1986, and a retrospective of his paintings at the Crocker Art Museum in 1993. His work has been included in several group shows at the Sheldon Art Gallery, University of Nebraska in 1973, the Brooklyn Art Museum in 1983, the Chrysler Museum, Norfolk, Virginia, in 1985, and the American Academy of Arts and Letters, New York, in 1993.
Kondos' paintings can be found in the permanent collections of Seattle First National Bank Collection, Seattle, Washington; Weatherspoon Gallery, University of North Carolina; Joslyn Art Museum, Omaha, Nebraska; and Pacific Telesis Corporation, San Francisco.
Kondos resides in Sacramento.
