Martha Diamond

Painter and printmaker Martha Diamond, was born in New York City in 1944 and received a BA from Carleton College, Northfield, MN, and an MA from New York University.

Over the years, Diamond was the recipient of a number of awards and grants, including an Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation grant and an Anonymous Was A Woman Award.

Diamond taught at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, Maine; the School of Visual Arts in New York; Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts. She was on the Board of Governors of the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.
