American, b. 1946
Artist Richard Kalina received a B.A. from University of Pennsylvania in 1966. Kalina’s achievements are aptly marked by his receiving two Visual Arts Fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as winning the Best Show Award from the International Association of Art Critics and the Bogliasco Foundation Fellowship. Kalina has also taught at numerous institutions, such as Fordham University, Hunter College, Tyler School of Art, New York Studio School, Parsons School of Design, Maryland Institute College of Art, and Bennington College. He resides in New York City and East Hampton, NY.
