John Maxwell

John Maxwell studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology, New York; the University of Rochester, NY; and the Provincetown (Mass.) Workshop with Victor Candell and Leo Manso. His honors include: the Dana Medal, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts; several awards, the American Watercolor Society; three awards, Audubon Artists; and the Philadelphia Watercolor Society. His works are in public collections such as: the Philiadelphia Museum of Art; the Butler Institute of American Art; Youngstown, Ohio; Wichita State University; Rutgers University, NJ.
