The work won the Solo exhibit award at the annual exhibition of the Pen and Brush Club in 1969. A plaster version of the bust was exhibited in the Academy annual the same year; bronze casts are also held by the Woodrow Wilson School, Princeton (New Jersey) University, and the Adlai E. Stevenson High School, *** Illinois.
