Label TextFor all the thirty consecutive years Higgins participated in Academy exhibitions it was never with more than a single canvas, excepting in the 1928 annual, when he showed two paintings; one was "Driven Out." Although Higgins gave that title to several works, it may be presumed the one exhibited then was the same painting accepted to confirm his election as Academician just a month after the annual closed.
